The Animal Legal Defense Fund serves as the legal voice for all animals. Each year, we handle over 100 civil litigation matters and work on nearly 200 bills that protect animals and oppose those that would be detrimental to animals’ well-being.

Criminal acts against animals are an epidemic in this country. Each year, the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s Criminal Justice team works tirelessly on over 100 animal cruelty cases, rescuing animal victims and bringing their abusers to justice.
